Full time Maternity Nanny / Housekeeper – Live Out | London

A lovely private family based in London is seeking an experienced and reliable Maternity Nanny / Housekeeper to join their household on a full-time, live-out basis.

The family has a 4-month-old baby, so genuine professional nanny experience with young babies is essential. The ideal candidate will be confident taking responsibility for the baby’s daily routine, including feeding, naps, nursery care and age-appropriate activities.

The position also includes practical housekeeping duties to help maintain the family home to a high standard. The property is a three-storey house, and the successful candidate should be comfortable working across the household and managing day-to-day domestic tasks efficiently.

The family also has one dog, so candidates should be comfortable around pets and happy to assist with basic pet-related responsibilities when required.

Salary: Up to £40 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Providing warm, attentive and professional care for the 4-month-old baby
• Managing the baby’s daily routine, including feeding, naps and activities
• Supporting the baby’s development through age-appropriate play and interaction
• Preparing bottles and baby meals as required
• Maintaining the baby’s nursery, clothing and belongings
• Children’s laundry and ironing
• General housekeeping and keeping the home clean, tidy and organised
• Maintaining high standards throughout the three-storey property
• Assisting with household organisation and day-to-day domestic tasks
• Being comfortable around the family dog and assisting with basic pet care when required
• Working closely with the parents and respecting the family’s routines and privacy

Requirements:

• Genuine professional nanny experience, ideally with babies and infants
• Confidence caring for a young baby independently
• Previous experience combining childcare and housekeeping duties
• A warm, caring and nurturing personality
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to household responsibilities
• High standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Good communication skills
• Reliability, discretion and professionalism
• Comfortable working in a three-storey family home
• Comfortable around dogs
• Paediatric First Aid certification is highly desirable
• An up-to-date DBS check would be advantageous

The successful candidate should be confident balancing professional childcare with housekeeping, while maintaining a calm, organised and discreet approach.
