Maternity Nurse, Westminster, London

A private family based in Westminster, London, is seeking an experienced and professional Maternity Nurse with light housekeeping duties to support the family with their baby.

The ideal candidate will have strong newborn experience, a calm and nurturing approach, and a genuine understanding of infant care. The role will focus primarily on the baby, while also providing light household support to keep the home organised and comfortable.

Working Days: Rota ( 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off )

Working Hours: 9-10 hours / day

Duties:

• Providing professional care for the newborn baby
• Establishing and maintaining a suitable daily routine
• Supporting feeding, winding, bathing and settling
• Assisting with the baby’s sleep routine
• Monitoring the baby’s development and general wellbeing
• Keeping the nursery clean, tidy and organised
• Washing and organising the baby’s clothes and linen
• Preparing simple meals or snacks for the family when required
• Light housekeeping and general tidying
• Keeping baby-related areas clean and well organised
• Assisting with household organisation when needed
• Working closely and respectfully with the parents
• Providing guidance and reassurance to the family regarding newborn care

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional maternity nurse or newborn experience
• Excellent knowledge of newborn care
• Paediatric First Aid certification
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one
• Excellent references from previous employers
