A private family in Kensington is seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis.

The family is looking for a trustworthy, kind and highly organised professional who is confident working in a private residence and maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation. The role will also involve providing practical day-to-day support to an elderly family member.

Salary: £40K Gross per year

Working days: 5 days / week

Working hours: 12 hours

Responsibilities:

• General housekeeping and cleaning
• Laundry and ironing
• Meal preparation and simple cooking
• Providing practical day-to-day support to an elderly family member
• Keeping the home clean, organised and well presented
• Managing household routines and daily tasks efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation
• Handling household items, clothing and personal belongings with care
• Working discreetly and respectfully within the family home

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Housekeeper in a private household
• Excellent housekeeping and organisational skills
• Previous experience with laundry and ironing
• Comfortable with meal preparation and simple cooking
• Kind, patient and respectful when supporting an elderly family member

• Strong attention to detail
