Newborn Nanny Job in Surrey

A private family in Hersham / Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, is seeking an experienced and discreet Newborn Nanny to join their established household team.

The family has a newborn baby girl and three older children. A professional household team is already in place, including a PA, drivers and a private chef.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced newborn nanny in Surrey who is confident working within a private household and understands the high standards, discretion and professionalism expected by a high-net-worth family.

A second nanny will also be appointed to provide cover for the main nanny’s days off and holidays.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and development of the newborn, working closely with the family and existing household team.

The family is looking for a nanny who is:

• Experienced in hands-on newborn care
• Calm, warm and highly professional
• Discreet and respectful of family privacy
• Comfortable working alongside other household staff
• Experienced within private or high-net-worth households
• Flexible and willing to travel with the family in the UK and internationally
• Reliable, organised and confident working independently

Requirements

Newborn experience is essential. Candidates must be able to provide verifiable references confirming their previous newborn nanny experience.

The following are mandatory:

• Proven hands-on newborn experience
• Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
• Valid Enhanced DBS check
• Right to work in the UK
• Verifiable professional references
• Willingness to travel with the family in the UK and abroad

Candidates must already hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate and Enhanced DBS at the time of application.

Russian-Speaking Nanny

Russian-speaking ability is a strong advantage, although it is not essential for the position.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working for a private family and will be comfortable maintaining the highest standards of childcare, confidentiality and household etiquette.

Working Arrangement

The family is ideally seeking a live-in newborn nanny.

A live-out arrangement may be considered for an exceptional candidate who lives locally in the Surrey area.

The main nanny will work 5–6 days per week, with a second nanny providing cover for days off and holidays.

Salary & Benefits

Salary will be agreed individually based on experience and suitability.

Candidates should provide their own gross salary expectations, either weekly or annually.

Meals are provided, with a private chef already employed by the family.
